During a turnaround, the constraint is never the inspection itself — it is the window. Equipment is open for a fixed number of days, and every finding either gets resolved inside that window or waits until the next one, years later.
Reporting at outage speed
Findings are communicated verbally the moment they are established and confirmed in writing the same day, so repair decisions are made while the scaffolding is still up. A report issued after the plant restarts has no operational value.
Inspection of the repair, not just the defect
Where a defect is found and repaired inside the window, we inspect the repair itself: excavation adequacy, repair weld procedure and qualification, post-repair NDT and final acceptance — so the closure is documented, not assumed.
