Fabrication stage
Spool inspection against the isometric: dimensional verification, joint fit-up, weld visual inspection, material and heat number traceability, bolt torque and flange face condition, and correct spool identification before despatch to site.
In-service condition
Thickness monitoring at defined condition monitoring locations, corrosion rate trending, small-bore and dead-leg attention, support and hanger condition, and visual assessment of insulation and external corrosion.
