2. General information
We take the protection of your personal data seriously. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). This notice explains what data we collect, for what purpose, and what rights you have.
3. Server log files
When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing device, time of the server request and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and security of our website.
4. Contact and enquiry form
If you send us an enquiry via the contact form or by email, we store the data you provide (name, company, email address, telephone number, inspection location and the details of your enquiry) in order to process your request and for follow-up questions.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Retention: enquiry data is deleted once the request has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply. Commercial and tax retention periods (six or ten years) remain unaffected.
5. Applications and career page
If you submit an application through our career page or by email, we process the data and documents you provide (contact details, CV, certification documents and any further information) exclusively for the purpose of the application procedure.
Legal basis: § 26 (1) BDSG and Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, and where you have given consent, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
Retention: application data is deleted six months after the procedure is concluded, unless you have consented to longer storage in our talent pool. You may withdraw that consent at any time.
6. Cookies and analytics
This website does not set any tracking or marketing cookies without your consent. Where a web analytics service is used, it is only activated after you have given consent, and that consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
7. External map services
Map content is not loaded automatically. Where a map is displayed, it is only loaded after you actively click to load it, at which point your IP address is transmitted to the map provider. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent).
8. Recipients of data
Personal data is passed on only where necessary — for example to our hosting provider as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR, or where we are legally obliged to do so. We do not sell personal data.
9. Your rights
You have the right to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.
