Vendor Inspection & Expediting

If you are buying equipment fabricated in Germany or the wider EU, someone independent has to stand in that factory before it ships — witness the tests, check the welds, verify the dimensions, and sign the report that releases your payment. Flying an inspector in from outside Europe is slow and expensive.

Inside the European manufacturing base

We are based in Brandenburg, within reach of the German, Polish, Czech and Benelux industrial belt. Typical mobilisation is 24 to 48 hours — against days and significant cost for an inspector dispatched from the Middle East or Asia.

Expediting is not the same as inspection

Inspection tells you whether the equipment conforms. Expediting tells you whether it will arrive on time. We report on fabrication progress against the manufacturing schedule, identify slippage early, and give you the evidence to act before a delay becomes your problem.

Scope of work

• Pre-inspection meetings and ITP review with the vendor
• Witness and hold point attendance during fabrication
• Factory acceptance test (FAT) attendance and reporting
• Written expediting reports on progress and schedule risk
• Final inspection, packing check and pre-shipment release
• Independent inspection certificates for letters of credit (UCP 600 / ISBP 745)
